New economy by decoupling its inter-dependencies

January 6, 2012

There is a trend in finding the main axis of the new economy. To increase the efficiency of the new economy, one shall consider that its growth is strongly connected to activities such as transports and their emissions. In order to reduce the increasing rate of the transport and its emissions, without diminishing the economic growth at the same rate, it is necessary to change the inter-dependencies (decoupling) of the economy, transport, and emissions. The institutional, organizational and managerial structures must be changed in this respect. So, there are policy needs to make the increasing rate of the transport activity lower than the growth rate of the economy and higher than the increasing rate of emissions.
